Honestly i walk around on campus, and the buildings look similar to public school buildings? Compared to Usyd, UNSW, UTS - Macq buildings are a laughing stock:eek:

I think its cause UNSW and Usyd are just better Uni's, so they get more funding, so they have more to spend on buildings

I don't like how you chose the use the word 'better'. Are you trying to say the education is worse at macquarie?

its because Mac was built in the 70's when these buildings were the epitomy of architecture :(

The Uni im at in Germany is exactly the same - ugly 1970 style buildings.....

na soz not UTS; and usyd is hogwart like, all they need is moving staircases

The UTS tower looks exactly like some of the Macquarie buildings to me..:eek:

Well the electronics/computing department - it's nice and cosy during winter with their soft bouncy squishy leather seats at the front. But who cares...macq is easy to get around - once you get used to their architectural planning of the place lol

But I enjoy the masses of concrete. Anyway, surely our lovely grounds make up for it all! The trees, the lake, the ducks in the lake, a statue of a prostitute, etc. Other universities don't have those things, I assure you.
