im revising for my english exam...omg im good with my essay and everythinggg
but how in the world do u memorise things for creative writingg without memorising the whole thing.
or is it the best way to memorise the whole thing?

Hey.

Just got 93% in my Adv English half yearly.

The secret to creative writing is to have an idea of what your story is about (i.e. Belonging, so develop a story that addresses belonging in an easy to connect with way, making sure that the central idea is addressed)and then on the day write from the heart. Don't bother trying to memorize it, spend your time memorizing your essay's instead.

Creative writing is all about writing from the heart.

Prepare the same as you would for an essay. Practice reading/writing creatively like you would analytically. Just do it enough that you get a sense for appropriate language and style. Then memorise key plot points like you would essay points.
