Ooo i did Stand by me in year 9 XD

Well let's see. You could say something along the lines of:

The Princeton dictionary defines identity as "the individual characteristics by which a thing or person is recognized or known". Journeys are a catalyst for an individual's search for their identity by forcing individuals to interact with their peers, events and the environment. The text "By the River By Steven Herrick" and the film Stand by me directed by Rob Reiner both portray this concept. Literary and cinematic techniques are used in the respective texts to depict how the concept of identity is universal.

That's just a skeleton of an answer with a made up thesis. Introductions don't have to be flashy - they could be as simple as the example i gave
