FF is good, but I like Opera better. btw, I used the latest versions. FF3 and Opera 9.64.

- Opera is slightly slower than FF, but after all the shit IE's put me through I really don't mind as long as there's a faster option (which both are).
- FF also seems to crash more on me, and take longer to recover than Opera.
- Plus, even though the add ons are useful, I just hate the thought of cluttering my laptop with even more stuff.
- Opera has nicer aesthetics than FF
- Opera is more secure than FF (that's what I've gathered from Google)

The only downside is you cannot install an inbuilt Google toolbar.

Edit: Forgot to mention I've also tried Google Chrome and Maxthon. Chrome is too minimalistic for me. I want the menu bar back, and not something that looks terribly like IE7. Maxthon is just pot ugly. So Opera is my final verdict.

You're comparing a new Firefox version (relatively) to an older Opera version (granted I'm not sure Opera 10 has left beta yet). Opera 10 is definitely faster than FF3 and FF3.5

i try the new addons called Cooliris recently

but it doesnt work on flock due to the based firefox version

Maxthon is a bad joke

Maxthon was like the precursor to Mozilla/Firefox. I'm pretty sure it did tabbed browsing before they did. It was a great way to make IE less shit. But it got totally swept away when Firefox came along.

I don't use Chrome simply because Firefox has generally better and more accesible plugins and just tends to be more stable I found.

Before I moved to Windows 7 (so with Both Vista and XP) I was running Firefox...

But when I moved to 7, the multiple Core management meant that IE8 just started pwning in terms of speed. Also InPrivate pwns Incognito mode in Chrome. And yea... combined with Windows new inbuilt security, IE8 on Windows 7 (and only on Windows 7, on Vista and XP it's shit) so far appears faster and more secure than Chrome of Firefox... although I'm sure once Windows 7 is readily available and Firefox gets more on the multi-threading bandwagon Firefox will go back to being my number 1.

Better browsing, it remembers your passwords well...
Tabbed browsing, and it's safer.
It's pretty user friendly, and more graphical, like you can theme it and stuff.
