What format did you use to respond to the question (eg: report, essay)?

fucked me over sooooo bad.

the question itself wasnt as bad as i thought (like at least i knew each part of the question well, because i had a feeling marketing would be in it)

but i didnt know how to WRITE it, and link it all together, and i had jack shit case material on it (i think i gave like 4 snippits of case material, pitiful)

plus i started to run out of time so i rushed the end bit

but yeah. FAIL.

The BOS will moderate the marks. My teacher is an experience marker. She said not to shit yourself, these marks will most probably be increase by a few marks because financial is usually a subject in which students struggle with. Especially in extended response. I wish I did 28 instead of 27.

i did #27 and had no idea how to link it all together

i ended up randomly linking market strategies (distribution channel, promotion and pricing strategies) with the customer and then saying that expenses should be cut and financial goals set. I don't know the financial planning cycle >.<

what the hell is 'the customer' anyway

Extended was all over the place, i thought it was a pretty abstract combination of topics to discuss, and a ripper to try and format it!

I thought the extended response was quite fair, well question 28 was, kinda similar to the CSSA trial. I think I would've been screwed if I attempted q.27, but luckily I didn't.

EDIT: Also, I wrote 14 pages for my response.

omg. seriously at the end of it, i just pretty much did a paragraph on each financial objective's characteristics and wrote "having an effective marketing plan will result in higher profits, resulting in this objective being achieved" after EACH ONE.

i did 28 and i dont think it was tooo bad
i did it like a business report my headings were

exec sum . . .
Market reasearch: i just did a definition

Process of market research :
1. identify informational needs
2. Research
-primary
-secondary
3. Implementation and analysis

Effects on marketing plan
how it affects
- situational analysis
- marketing objectives
- target market and strats

and then i just bullshitted about financial for a few pages and how it made it easy to predict trends and prepare for future financial stituations which will assist in acheiving financial objectives

. . . and the CS stuff i used seemed a little out of placed but i chucked some in in random places anyways

i did 6 pages . . . i wasn't unhappy with it but i wasnt happy . . . it seemed a little disjointed though, but i think thats just the question. im hoping to get at least 14

mine was about 6 pages for q 27, thought it was alright, but looking back it was a clusterfuck. i didn't link SHIT, just a bunch of random (made up on the spot of course) statistics, a VERY dodgy table and some suspect percentages about the local cinema where i work. hopefully its some senile old person marking it who cuts me some slack lol

I had about 3 pages left in the booklet. I found the extended responses sooo hard. I'm crushed because i did really well in business during year 12 and i stuffed up right when it counts the most..
