You should be able to compare it to entry cut-offs for similar degrees.
Some rules of thumb regarding prediction: courses with better career prospects (read: income/employment) will generally have higher cut-offs. Likewise, courses at perceived top universities (Usyd and to a lesser extent UNSW/UTS) will tend to have higher cut-offs, as well as degrees which are trendy/catchy, say Bachelor of 'Global Studies' or 'Psychology' or 'Journalism' (versus generic counterparts like BA, BSc).
