You never know man.. I remember when my score came out i was kicking myself as to why i didnt put down UNSW or even UTS.

Whats the worst that would happen? You get into macq and you have to work harder is all. The best that could happen? you get into UNSW or Usyd and your mind will be at rest.

Tier 2 unis always love to talk up how their course is harder, more students fail, it's more practical yadayadaya.

In Victoria you'l see Deakin and Monash students harping on about these things.
The funny thing is they still end up without a job. HAHAHAHAHA

potential distortions:
Response to surveys may depends on the thing measured, those who are not working full time are more likely to respond.
Simpson's Paradox - if for the sake of illustration, law grads gets 10x the salary of other grads, A university might be slightly worse than others when compared faculty to faculty but the overall average still be higher when they have more people oing law.
