My fiancé was in the US and I was in Sydney, we did that for almost two years before he moved here. We had a lot of people tell us a long distance relationship would never last - well of course it wouldn't, because as soon as one of us moved, it wasn't long distance any more.

It depends on the people really, and how long they're willing to wait it out and whether or not someone is willing to move at all I guess.

In an ideal world, I would have a girl in ever city I lived in/visit or work at.
Kinda like a James Bond, that would be cool.

But unfortuantely, my current girlfriend has followed me everywhere I have been recently. Pass 3 years I have lived in UK, HK, Macau and Singapore - and she has followed me to all 4 places.

What a wasted opportunity !!!
