I was just looking over the requirements and core subjects and i was wondering if it is at all possible to finish this degree in under 5 years? As it seems the way they have set out the core subjects and the number of 300, 400's etc it would not be possible.

Law has a massive workload so I would not advise overloading anyway. You may be able to speed it up bydoing some electives over summer or taking a subject or two out of turn, but you'd have to convince the academic advisor to give you a waiver. It really depends, in some cases there are a good reason why the subject is a pre-req (i.e. it makes sense to do property before equity) if not you may be able to convince them that you can do something ahead of schedule (I did international law in 3rd year because I didn't need the third year subjects for it)

Well i transferred from arts to arts/law and ive essentially finished my arts major so i was hoping i could compress first and second year together instead of only doing two units of study in an entire year. = (

You may be able to do that, talk to the academic advisor because straight law people would do more than the first four units. Your case will probably allow you to do it.
