In regards to throwing people out and what not?

It's pretty much the same. They can't use "excessive force" as mentioned in the articles. Excessive force is usually decided by juries in civil court cases, I suppose.

More so if they have the right to say ban you from the pokies if your not playing, or taking your ID off you etc etc.

Pokies-yes, it is the clubs property thus they can ban whomever they want.

basically you're fucked, the clubs always win, and yes they can take an ID if they believe it to be fake. If you argue and then you are being quarrelsome and then they have grounds to refuse you service and eject you anyway.
