Which laptop is better? (1 Viewer)

Hey,

I'm thinking of buying a laptop just for homework and internet browsing. The cheapest ones I've found are just under $500.

These two are the cheapest I've found:

Which one is better?

And are there any other stores that sell laptops better/cheaper than those 2 above?

the compaq has a better screen and faster wifi

i used to like dell but the big factor is if you buy a computer you need a back up disk or your computer can mess up and without a backup disk your all alone.
