i have been stressing alot lately , and i have been worrying that i wont be able to get an ATAR of 75+ , i want this so i can get into a course at uts
i was just wondering if you could give me an estimate with my results and rankings

english standard: 74% 10/66
Modern History: 84% 10/21
Economics : 68% 9/12
business studies: 78% 9/36
SOR I : 65% : 26/46
general maths: 75% 5/45

and my school ranking is around 220.. and could you all please give me some advice on what to improve on, thanks

you should get 75 fairly easily

thanks , yeah im kind of worried cause other people ave told me they have got in the 70s and 80s in their hsc exams but yet they still only got around 65 for their ATAR

Yeh that'd be because of their subjects, you can easily get 75 with those marks, just nail the trial.

yeah should be able to get an ATAR of 75, try your best in the Trials to eat up some ranks.

thats english for you, bloody teachers at my school gave like 60% for everything, marking like a bitch just crushes everyones confidence and makes people give up on the boring shit, but now im free, never have to do that shit again

Just try your bset - you can't do more than that.

Get the best mark you possibly can and you'll have more ways to get in later

im actually aiming for an ATAR of between 70 - 73

these are my new rankings and marks

english standard: 70% 20/66
Modern History: 84% 10/21
Economics : 67% 9/12
business studies: 78% 10/36
SOR I : 65% : 26/46
general maths: 76% 6/45

are these good enough for an atart of 70-73?

yeah im quite confident i will go better in my hsc and trials

yeah thats wats got me scared.. the calculator says ill get an atar of like 67 or something, which kind of brings my confidence down

you should get 75 fairly easily

no, from experience i would say u would get 65-70, try to push yourself up for all your subjects up to 85 then u'll probably even have a chance to get 90+

wont that be hard considering i only have trials and hsc exams left.. oh and assessments for english,modern,eco and business

Do your best, n for Eco, I would really try to get a better mark in that as you get scaled heaps for eco
