I do design and technology and you get the same amount of assignments as you do in english and the exams aren't too bad in the hsc the exam is only 1hr 30min compared to 3hr ones.
but still...DT is so pressuring 4 me. like it's the only subject that stresses the hell out of me! D=

I did workplace in a museum. It was fun as. (well for me that is, not sure how other people would have found cataloguing artefacts and checking for any damages or wrong labelling). n_n

I wouldn't have found that interesting but if you're into historical stuff I'd guess that would be interesting.

Work experience matters but it is not always the deciding factor. But one can certainly get lot of preference when he has work experience, for eg: among 2 equally potential candidates one has work experience and other does not have work experience, the candidate with work experience will be given more preference as he has practical knowledge in the field and he also knows the functioning of the firm, so he would certainly be a better competitor.

My school it was compulsorary to do it. If you didn't do Work Experience, Camp (I did Surfing Camp), School Certificate, or Activity Week(s), then you couldn't go to the Formal. One girl couldn't go to one of the camps because they left on her holy day and she didn't tell the school until closer to the date, they threatened that she couldn't go to the Formal but then I think it got all sorted out.

I went to my primary school. They said I was teaching Transition (Pre School and Kindergarten toss together) but then the principle made a mistake like a couple days before it started and I was a floater until the actual day of Work Experience. So I had no class and no actual person who was suppose to look after me. Poorly sorted out, mum was pissed and wrote to the Work Experience Co-ordinater, who was suppose to check everything and give me the right information, said it was a mistake. T.T"
Worse work experience ever. They considered us as still students, wouldn't let us in the staffroom (the principle was an arsehole, the first day we were allowed to go to the shops which is like a 5-10 min walk and go into the staffroom) or the shops. T.T"

I went to a vet. It was awesome and I got a job out of it and everything!!!! But I really wanted to do the Navy Work Experience program but the only one in Sydney during the week I needed it to be (during the school term) was with the Navy Band and I am musically incompetent...
