Really depends on what you want to do career wise.

Not sure how it goes for a Bachelor of Science though.

Science is a fair bit different - if I did a bachelor of science (maths) @ UWS chances are it'd only end up teaching what I learn in 2nd year ANU.

yes it does,
I've been to numerous graduate employer presentations, and on all most ever occasion the presenter has conveyed that their are grad quotas for each Go8 (they like diversity), with Adelaide and UWA and Monash having the lowest, and with USyd, UMelb and ANU having the highest.
Once someone asked 'so that means we won't ever be working with someone from UWS or ACU?', the presenter replied 'yes, lucky you!'

Everyone in the room (about 70 of us) had a big belly laugh.
