our teacher looked at this years independent paper for MX1 and said that we'd be cheering if we got to do the independent paper but then told us we were doing the cssa one :( he said cssa is harder most of the time.

got any results you could share arj1? :D
sry i havent actually had time to sit down an do a whole exam under timed conditions bcuz i havent done all the topics in the CSSA paper.
but the cssa paper i believe is really good bcuz it doesnt ask stupid questions like the independent paper and the questions are more like the hsc in the cssa paper

Seriously, whats a good mark for 4u trials. (assuming independent/cssa level difficulty)
i can only do about 70% of the paper and get about 50% of them right.

I did the 3 unit cssa 2010, i got all of the questions, didnt do it under exam conditions though. It was a really good paper,
especially the inverse functions question in question 6. I could just imagine some retard trying to figure out the inverse of that to find the POI when all he had to do was let f(x) = x lol

You mathematical genius :) I didnt attempt most of the questions.
Haha, that inverse question was one of the few I got correct in the paper.

mmm i should rephrase that.
i can attempt 70% of the questions
but i only get 50% correct out of the entire paper
dude dont worry, the CSSA is just as hard if not harder than the HSC. iirc 75/120 is considered a band six mark in CSSA trials
so ur probs looking at a 86 in MX2 with that mark and thats heaps good.

Trololololol.
In Mathematics Extension Two 76/120 is a mark of 90.

4U independent 10 - 63% (happy about this but i can still improve)

How lenient were you towards marking yourself? Curious
