To be fair, your ranks aren't exactly spectacular. EX1 probably won't end up counting, they're good ranks overall - but I think you can firmly expect 97 or higher. I think you might end up getting 98 possibly 99, but it really depends.

Are you trolling? Wtf, pretty sure someone in the top 3rd of all their subjects at baulko is guaranteed 98.
And at least top 60 gets 99+

In defence of shadowdude, its hard estimating top ranking schools (especially top 5) due to how well they perform and the fact that their ranks seem very "low" in comparison to those who ask for estimates from other schools. However, I would be very suprised if this person got less than 98.5, due to the median ATAR of Baulko being 98 and considering that the school will probably return to 2nd place overall this year.

I don't like going off median ATAR because ranks change considerably. If I asked for an ATAR estimate one year ago, the answer I would've gotten would be around 80.

And yet I got 95. These estimates can be very inaccurate, so that's why I like using this lovely thing called a 'plus' sign when I'm not exactly sure because of these fluctuations.

Look at my past posts to see that almost always when there's a person coming near first in their subjects or if they go to a high ranked school, I'll put something like "95+" or "96+" and put this nice little addendum of 'depends on externals'.

I strongly disagree. Ive met about 4 baulko kids at parties from this year's HSC, and they do two things: smoke weed, and go to gym.

now obviously those 4 is not representative of the whole grade, but I think baulko is going to have a strong tail, and I think 2nd is very unlikey.
