^Not necessarily, some people can't do maths, so doing 4U would be extremely difficult, dare I say it near impossible to do as well as if they stuck with their humanity strenghts. I think 99+ is hard with any subjects though.

In general, most of the people i know of who get 99.95 do maths/science combinations. Obviously there are exceptions, but it does seem to be easier to get higher marks with certain subjects, with scaling and what not.

this table tells you the highest atar achieved by a student doing a certain subject. it's clearly skewed towards some subjects, for sure.
