So... I need an advice... Thanks in advance
Originally going for med, but failed umat hard :(
so my backup is B Commerce/B Science (Advanced Mathematics) @UNSW or Dental Science @ Charles Stuart Uni.
If I am to go with the 1st option, I want to major in Actuarial studies. UNSW is a well-reputed uni. BUT being a dentist is a stable job as well however CSU sounds little doggy to me (no offence to CSU ppl)... and I still need to pass an interview as well...

SO PLEASE, ANY ADVICE WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!

PS: I got an estimate of 98.5

Do the one you have passion and like for, if you're going to pursue dentistry have passion for it or you're not going to have a very pleasant life...

Hmm.. Just like i mentioned, my childhood dream was to become a doctor. However with that dream now near impossible, these 2 options do satisfy my passion..

ITT shitty doctor.

You're only looking for the easy way out. If you want to do med, do a course like medical science or something, and do it post grad. Otherwise, it's obvious you're just going for high paying jobs.

Whats wrong with going uws or grad entry usyd/unsw med?
If your 'dream' is to become a doctor you shouldnt give up that easily
Think about it: number of doctors in australia > number of people who got 99.95

I agree with what people are saying regarding grad med - i have a lot of friends that didn't get in first time and did a science degree or med science and are now doing grad med. If that is what you really want, then don't give up on it. Furthermore, don't just be one of those 'UNSW/USYD' or nothing people. If you really do want to be a doctor - try for Newcastle or UNE, or go outside of NSW (which is what one of my friends did). I don't think the uni counts as much for med as it may in other degrees.

edit: also consider the rural bonded places as well...
