Which subjects should I drop? Help please. D: (2 Viewers)

So my yearly results for my subjects were:
3U maths (83%)
2U maths (94%)
Legal (95%)
Economics (95%)
Modern history (approximately 80%)
Chemistry (65%)

I'm picking up extension 2 maths, but I'm not sure whether to drop chemistry or modern. I want to keep chemistry, just so it provides many doors for university courses and I'm scared that I won't be able to do a course, because I didn't do it for HSC (I still don't know what I want to do, but definitely not medicine courses, etc) , however I'm not doing that great, and I'm worried I won't have enough time to catch up in time for the first assessment. As for Modern, I'm realllllly bad at source analysis, and altogether in Prelims it probably accounted for half of my total marks, so it dragged it down a bit - but I'm okay for the essay part. However I'm scared that taking extension 2 maths - I won't have much time for Modern, along with my other 2 humanities subjects.

Can anyone offer any advice? Or has someone gone through a similar situation?

Also does anyone know what are your options if you didn't do the prerequisite subjects for a university course?

I'd drop chem if I were you, if you want to go to uni in NSW, Chem can be bridged and is not a true pre req for as many courses as it is in Vic.

With Modern Source analysis, you can work and improve on this. It's not like it's a special skill which a select few have, so I wouldn't be hindered by this too much.

I do both Modern and MX2 and managed them both well (plus 2 other humanities, although they are SOR1 and HX), but of course everyone's different.

For most NSW universities, there aren't that many courses (I don't think I've seen any at all yet) which have "prerequisites". Note that when a university lists "assumed or recommended knowledge", these are not prerequisites. So I reckon dropping Chem wouldn't be too bad, and seeing that you don't want to do Med, it can still be bridged with good result.

How about you drop nothing and see how you go with the workload? Seriously. So many babies on this forum. "OMG I HAVE 13 UNITS, IT'S TOO MUCH WORK! WHAT SHOULD I DROP?! wah wah wah wah". It's like there exists an obligation to drop subjects, as if you must have below 12 units or whatever so it's acceptable.

15 units? I had 16 units for a time. That was still manageable.

But from what you've given, drop Chemistry if you must drop something because you can always do a bridging course later if you need to do it.

From what I've heard, it's essentially the core aspects of each subject that are needed for the course you want to get into, and done at a substantial speed. It also costs, so consider your options.

I believe it's in January-February. Just before the commencing of Uni, logically.

Bridging courses are generally conducted during February, the month before uni starts.
