I use two different methods. Either Torrenting, or with Usenet. Usenet is meant to be a pay service, but with Internode it's free.

For torrenting, I use:
uTorrent
PreToMe.net (private tracker)
Demonoid.com (private tracker)
ISOhunt.com

Usually down about 50GB's a month of stuff. Currently have over 300GB of movies/music/TVshows.
