The Wave Hill Walk Off - or the Gurindji strike was in August 1966.
And the Bark Petition - also known as the Yirrkala Bark Petitions are historic Australian documents that were the first traditional documents prepared by Indigenous Australians that were recognised by the Australian Parliament, and are thus the first documentary recognition of Indigenous people in Australian law.
Trust me you won't need to know intensive detail about these developments of Indigenous identity, so don't stress too much about them.
