b medical science @ unsw (3 years), m biomedical engineering @ unsw (1.5 years), $4000

vs

b medical science/b engineering (mechanical(biomedical)) @ usyd (5 years)

Do courses like Geology/Mining Engineering/Geophysics and the like. Australia is a giant quarry - iron ore, nickel, copper, uranium, mineral sands, rare earths etc etc thermal & coking coal, oil & gas, coal seam gas, shale gas etc .

In Australia, that's where the money is.

Fair enough.

But let my post be of some benefit to those in Yr 9 & 10. Don't forget to do Physics & Chemistry if you wish to do the types of courses I've suggested.

unsw. brother did master of biomed when it first came out at unsw (when the cutoff was like 98+) and was offered a lot of graduate placements and shit (also because he HD'ed everything and got on deans list, etc.)

also because i go to unsw and who doesn't want to go to my uni?
