i prefer upstairs, i cant run downstairs (fast) without the fear of tripping due to a misplaced step

No, just leave early or so or walk fast. That walk probably takes me 10 minutes.

Hmm okay although I don't like the idea of potentially missing out on the last 10 minutes of my lecture. Do they give any important info during that time bracket?

Like sit near the edge so you can leave as soon as the lecture is finished. And walk fast. It takes me 10 minutes because I dawdle. If you walk fast, you can probably make it in 6-7 minutes.

You won't miss much of the lecture, at all.
