yep, it's february and I still don't know what to do for my major work.

I do know that I want to use different perspectives, explore ideas of fate and coincidence.

how can I decide what to do?

Keep researching until you find an idea. That's what research is for.

what do you think: The last week of someone's life. kind of like the film the bucket list, but focusing on personal reflection like the catcher in the rye. maybe throw in the usual existentialism crap.

also exploring the idea of fate

I think that has potential to be one of the few "good" sad, existentialist, nihilistic whatnot stories.

Yes, I think it can be a great story.

It all just got a bit more real for me when I found out just then that a girl in the year below me passed away last night. That story can really be something special. It's times like these where you realise the fragility of life and how lucky we are, how taking one step onto a freeway when not looking can end your life - there, that's it. Done. Finished.

The finality of death is a subject that, if treated correctly, can create a masterpiece. And the saddest thing about that is, for the girl who passed away, is that she thought she'd wake up the next morning.
