Hey guys, I'm considering taking up 4 unit next year, but I'm not sure if I should stick with Physics and 11 units instead. Say 85 in physics - What does that correspond to in extension 2 generally?

A HSC mark of 85 in physics scales to the equivalent of a 91.8 ATAR, which is achieved with an MX2 score of 61.

Did not know that haha.

Some raw marks should put things in to perspective:
Physics = ~69/100
MX2 = <54/120 (note that this years MX2 is out of 100, not 120)

Edit: Accidently had raw mark for 85 in MX2 there

Or, take both and see how you go.

Yeah, I'll keep it for a little bit, I just don't want to overload myself.

But don't think if you get 60ish in MX2,you will get an atar over 91, you need good marks for other subjects too :L
