Unlocking 2012 DET Laptops? (1 Viewer)

I've heard of people at other schools getting their laptops unblocked already. for anyone who has had this done could you shed some light on it?

Process is happening soon for everyone I believe. It's awesome, we get a transferable license to the Microsoft products on our laptops.

We're having ours unlocked in about 3 weeks.

Here's what my tech guy at school who wants students to call him by his first name than his last name told us.
1. You will have it unlocked.
2. When it is unlocked, all the information in the hard drive including Windows 7 Enterprise will be wiped off.
3. You will be given a Windows 7 Ultimate image.
4. You have to re install Windows 7 yourself.
I reckon a lot of people will struggle with this.
