Guys

What is the most number of people you have ever seen miss an exam?

I remember an exam last semester and I reckon about 20 out of 200 desks were empty.

one of my mates was speaking to the lecturer, and he said something about them being "sick" and would probbly have a dr certificate for headache or diarhea.

Dunno about you but I focus on trying to ace my exams rather than trying to count empty seats.. but so far I haven't seen many empty seats in first year com.

Missing exams by dr certs sounds pretty sweet though. Dodgy GPs ftw ehh?

some of them could simply be in another room. I get allocated a seat in the big rooms with everyone else in my cohort, except I do most of my exams on a computer so my allocated seat remains empty, but I'm still doing the exam.

Yeah, I know some people in first year in the same situation.

Also, some people are genuinely sick, and some people hang out with people from their classes do if one gets sick they might all get sick. Ew.

i know ppl who went into exams thinking they could pass. but after flicking through the actual paper, they go to the toilet, gag themselves, tell the examiner they arent feeling well, get a med cert and sit a deferred exam.

yeah, I've thought about this.

Most of my remakes are the same exam too so it would work fine.

In the room I was in for my ECON1002 final this semester there were about 40 seats and around 10 were empty. I always wonder why so many people skip exams - even if you're applying for special consideration there's no guarantee it will be upheld and if it isn't and you haven't sat the exam, you're sort of screwed!

wtf u guys talking about self-forced vomiting for lol
just study
in med, if u fail, u repeat a whole year rather than just one subject (5 year degree turns into a 6 year one). high stakes calls for extreme measures, so u do what u have to do to get through.

it's less likely they'll give you special consideration if you've sat the exam. They should've said this in the first few classes you ever had.
