Hey, I'm trying to figure out which course to pick between commerce, eng/comm and comm/sci at unsw.

I originally thought i'd just do comm but then every year thousands of comm graduates get pumped out of universities so is it necessary to do a double degree to give you that extra edge?

I read that eng/comm is really a waste of time and doesn't really aid one another. Comm/sci with majors in finance/maths or finance/statistics is okay i guess, but i'd like a bit more information about the science course and whether its more beneficial than a double major in commerce.

Thanks

Well you could mix Engineering and Commerce together. If you pick the right streams/majors in each degree, you would be able to specialise as a consultant or an analyst in your field of choice. It would also assist you in moving through a particular industry as the Commerce component of the double degree would be appropriate for progression into senior management.

Well if you don't think you would have a knack for it, I would suggest you rule it out then.
