subject/elective recommendation for first year b.economics :) plzz

I want to major in finance and economics later.

Obviously do the first year core units. As for electives I would suggest first year Maths because it helps you down the track once you encounter more mathematical concepts in finance and economics.

also the usyd site is quite complicated, doesnt tell you what courses you need to complete in order to acheive the degree.

Yes in B Eco, you can major in a business school course.

If you want to know which courses to do for your degree, look at the page for "Current Students" rather than "Future Students"
