Bach. Science in IT ---> Master of Science in Internetworking (1 Viewer)

okay, i know im 5 years off but still, its good to think ahead xD

1. get into Bach Science in IT
2. major in internetworking
3. graduate (4 years later
4. get masters?

how is this meant to work?
is it worth the time?

Well, the bachelor of science in IT is a double degree, so your electives (normally in single degrees) would be replaced by 2 majors. So you graduate with 2 degrees..

Bsc IT on it's own is not a double degree.

What is it that you want to do?
If it is just networking and security then do a basic course and then go to tafe to collect extra certs to widen your skillset.

If you want to go to further study, like research and all that then I'd go for somewhere like UNSW which has a really good Comp sci school where you can do some more advanced courses (postgrad level) in your third year.
