• 4BC- Romans describe that the disease came from swamps so name of the disease meant ‘bad air’
• 1880- Charles Lavaran discovered malaria was caused by a parasite
• 1897- Ronald Ross discovered that Plasmodium was the protozoan that caused the disease malaria
• 1898- Patrick Manson experimented with anopheles mosquitoes to bite his son who developed malaria. He then went to malaria-zones and lived in a hut with bed nettings and remained in perfect health
• 1898- Giovanni Grassi named the Anopheles mosquite as the carrier of the malarial parasite
You would ideally need 3, but its up to you to decide
