Hi desperately need assistance to make first preference difference before tomorrow's deadline.
l have broke it down to either

1.Business leadership and commerce at Macquarie Uni- New course and small candidature
2.Economics at Sydney Uni

What is the difference between economics and commerce?
Does the prestige(status) of uni matter for future employment?

Hi mate,

You can do B.comm and major in economics, so in a sense, B.Comm is a broader degree. If you're looking for finance/accounting (the typical - or the most popular majors) then B.Comm would be the best.
MQ and UNSW/USYD are seen in a similar light by many accounting firms from what I gather. Not sure about finance. Rep may be a bonus sometimes.

I would suggest B.Comm at macquarie for now. B.econ at USYD can get a bit tough and you may struggle to transfer into commerce later. On the other hand, we have plenty of people transferring from mq uni to usyd after first year commerce.
