I hope to pick up MX2, but I don't think my school will let me do 14 units, three of which being extensions...curse SOR. I think people really struggle with the idea that one can be good with English/Humanities AND Mathematics/Science.
Maths 4u is a dream for me, I'm hoping I can work super hard in order to hopefully achieve that. Yes, I think they do feel as if you can only be maths or english orientated. I guess we're a bunch of all-rounders! I don't think I'd do 14 units for the HSC, it seems like a lot of work, especially as only your best 10 units count. Oh well, that's something we can think about at the end of the year (Oh god.)

End of the year as in end of year 11 (term 3)... ? It's all coming too fast: I can't comprehend.

I am :D The laptop's are so heavy lol :c I think teachers will still give out research tasks which you may need laptops for :)

That being said, is internet explorer the only brower people use for laptops? Some of my friends use chrome but it crashes and you have to keep on reinstalling apparently...

In my school last year, we all used chrome; internet explorer always lagged. We were using dell laptops, by the way. :)

People who are doing EE1 and MX1, what do you prefer? What career would you like to go into?

It's policy at my school that we HAVE to bring our laptops, but I think writing your work/notes makes it stick in your head better.

Oh I definitely prefer English, and I'm better at it as well but I'm hoping to undertake a career in Medicine. One day I hope to be a surgeon specialising in cardiology.
