I've heard a lot of mixed responses about the USyd Commerce course, especially for people who are planning to do a major in accounting. It'd be nice to get some opinions from people here.

Is there a reason why?

ATAR requirement for straight Comm at USYD is pretty high. E.g. For my year, I needed an ATAR of 95 to get into Commerce, but an extra 0.05 ATAR would get me into Engineering/Commerce. That being said, I do know quite a few people doing straight commerce.
