The first one is a sketch, I just used pencils. I referenced off another image but I can't find that image at the moment. :/

The next two were made using programs GIMP and Paint tool sai and an art tablet:

I forgot to attach this to my last post haha (too blown away by your photos nerd~ ) but some of the limited pictures I could scavenge from my 15-16 year old self, who apparently disliked realism and had no sense of proportions. (not I'm any better now lewl)

Nice shading for the first one, sick animation for the second one (dog actually looks like he's walking haha) and a nice, clean design for the last one!

A question, why dogs in particular? (even your deviant username, content etc)

I have no idea really, I guess I just like dogs and drawing dogs, though I don't own one myself. And also I play an online game based on 'showing' and caring for virtual dogs, and sometimes do custom art for other users on there (of their 'characters' or 'fursonas'), which is why a lot of the images on my deviant art are dogs.

I guess it's similar to my fixation with dragons years ago - playing the Yugioh TCG and watching the anime constantly

What is it that you like about my pictures ?

To be fair ... Drawing is really hard

You've got a great sense of tonal contrast and composition which really attracts me (and I'm sure tons others ). Photography, I feel is also harder than your traditional art forms because it's so completely reliant upon composition rather than things like brush work, which tbh, can be waffled though much like bsing in english

Thank you! I do realistic/impressionist paintings now though haha

I am drawing this for my girlfriend, it's a work in progress
