When working out the answer for the first question, why isn't it 5- 1 instead of 6-1? The answers say 6-1 but sometimes questions like these confuse me.
Yea something wrong with the codecogs website. When I go to view that image I get 500 - Internal Server Error. Is it just me or is the Latex not showing up properly?
(Image seems to be broken??)
It'll probably be fixed soon. Or you can click 'Reply with quote' on my post before to see the LaTeX code, most of it is relatively easy to read.Anybody with Latex that works? lol.
mines fixed now isnt yours? It'll probably be fixed soon. Or you can click 'Reply with quote' on my post before to see the LaTeX code, most of it is relatively easy to read.
Yeah mine is. Also did everyone notice a font change on BOS? That might have caused the LaTeX to screw up for a while.mines fixed now isnt yours?
Why does it say in the teacher's answer n = 6? I also put thought that the power was 5-1 but it is actually 6-1, why though?
The teacher used 56 as the starting term, so they had to use n = 6 in their formula. Just use starting term 42 so you can use n = 5 in the formula. That's what I done wrong, I done 56 x (3/4)^5-1, but why is it meant to be 6-1? Questions like these confuse me.
