On rawmarks.info, three different marks are listed:
1. Unweighted Raw Mark (/100)
2. Weighted Raw Mark (/100)
3. Aligned/Reported Exam Mark
What do each of them mean? Are they all independent of assessment marks?

1. literally the raw mark you earned on the exam - the sort of mark you are used to getting at school when everyone in the class does the same questions.
2. the adjusted mark between questions so that al questions on the paper have the same statistics e.g. in Modern History when looking at the Russia responses compared to the Germany ones it may appear that the marks for Russia are lower than for Germany despite the fact that on WWI the state wide cohort have similar statistics so they 'weight' the Russia marks to the same as Germany (or any other topic)
3. the mark that appears on the HSC - this is after a panel of markers has reviewed the questions, the marking criteria and the performance descriptor bands and determined the 'cut-offs' for each band e.g. deciding that a reported mark of 90, or band 6, will be anyone with a raw mark of 83.5
They are all independent of the assessment marks which are moderated to the school's cohorts exam marks and the two marks - own aligned exam mark and moderated assessment mark - are then averaged for the final HSC mark.
