so i managed to get my hands on an uts engo handbook and it says that civil (by itself) is 91.4 but combining is international studies it's 85.8. i don't get it, why is it lower?

it all depends on the number of students and etc, this whole ATAR bullshit is all based on probability and shitz. What happened to me is that my first preference was a degree of 85. But I got into a course which was my 5th Preference and the ATAR was 85.5.
