I'm majoring in Finance, and have had a look at this: http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/plans/2016/FINSA13502.html

. It states that students should choose 3 compulsory courses to do within the first 2 years, but what about the electives - How many electives do I get to choose within these first two years if I side with 3 of the 4 compulsory courses?

. I'll probably settle with FINS1612, FINS1613 and FINS2624. In which order should I take these 3 courses?

. Where can I find information on the above 3 courses? Are there pdfs with the course material lying around on google? What are some of the books associated with the above?

Thanks in advance peeps :)

I'll make it short and sweet:

1) Depends on the degree you're doing and how you plan out your degree. But you should be able to easily fit in the electives of the finance major into your duration of study - the degree is designed so it can be fit in lol.

2) General consensus is 1613, then 1612, then 2624. However, some people do end up taking 1612 and 2624 in the same semester - it's not that much of a biggie.

3) https://www.business.unsw.edu.au/programs-courses/course-outlines/undergraduate
