Hey guys,
I got an email the other day saying that the student start up scholarship has now become the student start up loan.
Is this separate from Youth Allowance, or is it the same thing?
So say I do get Youth Allowance, will I have to pay it back in the future?

It replaces the student scholarship which gives your 2k every year

This new loan thing you have to pay back (I think they can add it onto HECS)

But Youth Allowance is just normal payments not a loan

If you need it then definitely but if you don't then there is 0 point as you'll be paying the money back anyways with (albeit minimal) interest so might as well buy necessities with your own funds if possible.
