I feel you man. We should be fine tho. Just got to remember to work hard.
Just make use of the 2 week holidays before year 12, I have to say that it saved heaps of time during the term and learning the course twice (holidays and school) helped remember the content for assessments!

Try to establish study habits now such as timetables because I didn't have that good study habits for year 11 and it hurt a bit in year 12 but it's fine - motivation always prevails.

The best comparative to go with 1984 I though would be Harrison Bergeron. They are EXTREMELY SIMILAR in terms of their social manipulation and oppression of individuals.

I had inconsistent study patterns in yr 11 where some periods of time I would study alot then other days I would ceebs. Best thing to do is to have daily, weekly, termly and yearly goals for tasks and keep organised and be consistent. My study per day varied from 0-3 hours daily..but normally like 1-2 hours. However this was a learning year for me and I have changed alot since.

I wish we did 1984... we have to do Richard III/LFR and I don't like it because one of them is just someone acting out certain scenes of the play...
