The new 891 bus routes from Central are a bit ridiculous!! It takes sooo much longer to get to the uni now :/

It took me about 35 minutes (due to the time I went), but my friend who got the earlier buses was on the bus for 50 minutes apparently.

It took me about 35 minutes (due to the time I went), but my friend who got the earlier buses was on the bus for 50 minutes apparently.

Yeah my bus took around 50 mins rip, missed my chem lab T_T

Luckily I was trying to get there for 10 and I made it just in time, my friend was trying to get there for 9 though but got there at 9:30

Yeah I have a 9am on Wednesday, which appears to be the worst time (9am).

We were mainly stuck before High street, there was a lot of traffic and even then, High Street had at least 7 891's on it at the one time, so unless you are getting off at Gate 9 (which I did this morning), that could definitely add to the time as well!

Also: Even our Bus driver told us that it will probably be like this every morning so we will need to adjust our schedules.

say you live in parramatta, it will take

30 min waiting for bus
30 min bus ride
30 min train
however long it takes you to get home from the station
slightly cheaper if concession fare

compared with
45 min driving in mid-heavy traffic
30 minutes parking/walking
no waiting for bus

i reckon most people will start driving to UNSW now which will just add more to the congestion/parking problem

Yeah if you have classes at 9am or 10am the bus rides are about 30-50mins. However I had class at 11am today and caught the bus at 10:15~ and it only took 15 minutes
