Another way, convert tan theta into sin/cos. Then just multiply and eventually you'll get the equation Factorising it will give you . Solve for both equations and you get your answer
Yeah this is probably a better way as if you divide by cos you assume that cos is not 0 which it can be for 0<theta<360.

Actually, is not a possible solution in this case as it corresponds to being undefined, which is clearly not possible given the question.

However, if the "divide by " approach is used, it is important to comment on why or to consider separately the case where and show (in this case) that it does not lead to any valid solutions.
