Hi,

Does anyone know what is happening to the format of the math exams?

The nesa syllabus specification page seems to say that the question 11-16 format has been replaced with the 37-42 question format so each part becomes a question?

And it looks like we might get writing space on the paper itself?

Can someone confirm these please?

Extension 1 and 2 are staying the same (question booklet seperate to answer booklet), but advanced will now be in the same format as the general/standard papers where you write in the one booklet and the questions are not 11-16, 15 marks each

I guess you're right then, the nesa extension 1 sample questions might just be outdated then.

Just to clarify, the only change to Extension 1 and 2 is that questions 11-16 (or 14) are not necessarily worth exactly 15 marks anymore.
