Hi,

I'm doing an experiment on how far a ball rolls based on the surface it is rolling on (something super basic just have to justify it very scientifically). My surfaces are like concrete, grass, carpet etc. I can't seem to understand the science behind this (besides friction). Please help!

If everything is constant and friction is the only thing you're testing, then that's it. You're looking at how different friction coefficients affect the rate in which a ball rolls down a surface.
