just wondering what the best tutoring place to go to for year 9s and 10s as an above-average student? is private tutoring worth it, or what tutoring centres would be good? also considering the location, i'm looking for south sydney or sydney east places

private is good for eng. Math- Dr Du, or if ur ready to go all the way to Parramatta, SCOM, Ngo is good too for math.
Science: Zhangs, ACE, Matrix,
If u rlly want english tuition ur best choice is probs Matrix or Dr Du, no soul on this planet has ever touched the surface of those english classes so It's kinda like private f2f tuition in a tuition center.

I suggest not to go to matrix! Classes are crowded and the teacher never usually has time to go over feedback in depth! (well for me when I went there for english)

group tutoring for english is always mid, but matrix is on another level. their reading to write course for y11 involves them looking at memes from a facebook page from subtle asian traits or whatever and writing essays on the this is america music video 💀

(but i'm a matrix science defender forever <3)
