B is false cause its an 'if and only if statement'.
if x=y, then sinx = siny - this is correct.
but also...
if sinx = siny, then x=y - this is incorrect. An example of this is sin(0) = sin(pi), but 0 does not equal pi.

An equivalence means that it must work both ways, and so the reverse statement

must also be true, but it isn’t. Say for example, x=2pi and y=0. While , so the statement isn’t true
