Hi everyone,
I do Maths Advanced Accelerated at a selective school roughly ranked around 40, and was wondering what to expect for my HSC after ranking 7th out of 126 people?

I do Maths Advanced Accelerated at a selective school roughly ranked around 40, and was wondering what to expect for my HSC after ranking 7th out of 126 people?

lol those 3 numbers seem awfully similar to me last year when i accelerated.
so using that, i came rank =6 with like 9 other people and got a 97 internal mark. i then got 98 external and 98 overall as such.
so i would say you would be on track for around 97 HSC mark (based off my internal at rank =6)

40 people got band 6 in 2022

we got quite alot more band 6 tho, so maybe closer to 96 based off that

keep in mind, it also depends on your cohort as well as where you are at individually.
in past papers, you should definitely be aiming for at least 90+ raw (in hard selective school papers maybe a bit lower, like top 5 schools)

yeahh my aim is to do around 20 past papers before the HSC
