hi, carrots, which subject has similar scaling as Japanese beginner? so i can put my trial marking into the calculator to see the prediction of my atar! thx!
I just checked and while there isn’t any alignment data for Japanese beginners so I can’t say with certainty, it should be approximately similar to PDHPE, which if I had to guess would have slightly worse alignment but it does have slightly better scaling so it should cancel outhi, carrots, which subject has similar scaling as Japanese beginner? so i can put my trial marking into the calculator to see the prediction of my atar! thx!
if i'm ranked first at a terribly performing school, my assessment mark should just be very similar to my exam mark right? Your exam mark and school assessment mark will be identical in that case, so this calculator should be quite accurate as long as the raw marks themselves are accurateif i'm ranked first at a terribly performing school, my assessment mark should just be very similar to my exam mark right? the atar it gives me seems a bit high.Your exam mark and school assessment mark will be identical in that case, so this calculator should be quite accurate as long as the raw marks themselves are accurate
if you’re using it correctly (ie with a paper marked fairly and that is similar to last years hsc in difficulty) then it’ll be accuratethe atar it gives me seems a bit high.
take about 10 atar points off and it should be about rightthe atar it gives me seems a bit high.
How does raw 70s give an atar close to the 90sif you’re using it correctly (ie with a paper marked fairly and that is similar to last years hsc in difficulty) then it’ll be accurate
so you need a combination of 50s and 60s to get an atar of 80?if you’re using it correctly (ie with a paper marked fairly and that is similar to last years hsc in difficulty) then it’ll be accurate
don’t ask me, ask nesa - scaling is just goodHow does raw 70s give an atar close to the 90s
depends a lot on the subjects, with something like mx2 60s would be way above and beyond 80 but for other subjects not so muchso you need a combination of 50s and 60s to get an atar of 80?
off topic but are you a farmer?depends a lot on the subjects, with something like mx2 60s would be way above and beyond 80 but for other subjects not so much
he's a carrot farmeroff topic but are you a farmer?
it’s good they have something to fall back on !he's a carrot farmer
not everyone can get 70s in their hsc and get a 90+ atar! /lh /jit’s good they have something to fall back on !
no im a pure city slicker who’s never seen a cow beforeoff topic but are you a farmer?
"city slicker"no im a pure city slicker who’s never seen a cow before

me personally ive never been on a farm so I wouldn’t know anything about the really cute potty lambs. they would be my favourite part if I was a farmer though but luckily I’m just a city slickerWhat’s your favourite part about farming!
