my school is kind of under-developed when it comes to music so i've been acing the aural exams and performances but now when i look at past band 6 performances for piano they all seem really advanced. for reference im doing 4 piano performances: core and for all the electives, and the pieces i chose are from grade 4 and 5. does it matter what grade the pieces are if im super confident in them or will i be capped??? what kind of piano pieces get band 6's in music 1??? im kind of relying on getting a band 6 in music as im pretty unconfident in my other subjects and getting lower than that would realllllllllllllyyyy drag my atar down.😞😞😞

i don’t know, but doing a perfect grade 4/5 song is much better than a messed up grade 8 song. just make sure it’s perfect.
